A Costa Rica native, Gustavo moved to Switzerland as a young man where he worked as a nurse assistant for many years before collaborating with a friend to open a beer garden in Zurich. He quickly assimilated to Swiss culture and surrounded by Europeans,
he learned several languages including English, German, Swiss-German as well as Italian and some French.

In 2017, he move home and settled in the charming beach town of Samara and joined the Coldwell Banker team. As he built his business, he started exploring the zone south of Sámara and fell in love with the Playa Coyote area.

In January 2025, he opened the Coldwell Banker Playa Coyote office to help support the community with the inevitable development of this gorgeous part of Costa Rica. Contact Gustavo and his team to learn more about this gorgeous zone.
