Consorcio NEMO has won the concession for the administration of the popular Ojo de Agua baths near the airport and Belen. The company plans to clean up the pools and recereational areas that are there and to install new attractions like an artificial beach and 2 water slides, one 26 meters tall and one 15 meters high.
José Pablo Chávez, the General Manager of Consorcio NEMO, stated that "security, cleanliness and fun is our theme, we want families to enjoy themselves and to learn at the same time."
The company will pay 8 million colones per month rent to INCOP (Institute of Pacific Ports) who is the government agency that owns the park. They expect to take over operation in March 2006 after the contract is validated by the Comptroller.
