The Executive President of INS Luis Javier Guier announced that since the re-insurer did not provide information on the $1.6 million account that they managed for INS/ICE, that INS would no longer be using the British company. Guier said that he would ask the firms British external auditors if they can provide information.
The ICE President Pablo Cob said that they do not have relations with re-insurers, so it was improper for PWS to establish a “training and capacitation” fund. He could not confirm or deny the existence of the fund, but did say the ICE auditors were looking for one. This conflicts with the view of the ex-president of ICE, Cristóbal Zawadzki, who said that “the training was basically focused on raising the level of professionalism in ICE employees, who are not experts in the insurance field”
