Due to pressure from different political and social sectors, the executive branch has annulled a regulation dealing with munitions and arms factories. The regulation was included in the “General Regulations for the authorization of sanitary permits from the Ministry of Health”, a basic permit that most businesses in Costa Rica need in order to operate.
