Lilliana Salas, leader of the PUSC legislators, confirmed that the Executive Branch will try to get only 2 projects approved in the last month of sessions. One priority is a bill that reforms the Administrative Contracts Law, which would make purchasing easier for public institutions. The other is an amendment to the Public Concessions Law, which would make giving concessions easier. Both initiatives are waiting to be passed to the floor, but have received approval in commissions.
These 2 bills have been given priority in place of the Fiscal Reform, which was laid to rest by the Constitutional Court this week.
