The National Children’s Welfare Office intends to purchase the old Dos Pinos factory in Barrio Lujan, in downtown San Jose.  The institution has set aside the 100 million Colones needed to purchase the buildings, approximately $ 200,000, and is waiting for approval from the Comptroller General.

The new facilities will include the central offices, a library, an auditorium and a study center for children being helped by the offices.
