New Year’s Day
Well, I didn’t need to wait for the new year for more adventures. Last night we planned to take Tasi to the bar for the big party but Raz, my dog, is afraid of firecrackers, and there were very many in the neighborhood, as is the custom here, and he ran away. We stayed home and Tasi went to the bars with Marvin’s son, Arturo, who doesn’t drink, so I don’t mind lending him my car. They returned at 4 am with the dog, who had also visited the bar. Tasi and Raz went to sleep, Linda and I got up and had our New Year’s coffee with Irish Cream. It was very cold, 17o C, so we did about 4 hrs. work around the yard before we relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the day.
